Happy Anniversary

Eric and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary yesterday (Dec. 1st)! It's hard to believe that we've been married for 2 years already, but at the same time it seems we've been together forever!! Eric and I got to go out on an actual date last night. It's been quite some time where we have done something together...just the two of us. We started off our date with dinner at ..
The food was delish! After dinner we went and saw The Blind Side.

If you haven't seen this movie yet you NEED to!! It was amazing!

So...Here's to 2 challenging, yet wonderful years! And here's to many more wonderful years together!!

I Did It....

...And I can't believe that I did!! I've officially joined the group of other moms that chop their hair post baby. (Isn't that what you're supposed to do?) It has just taken me a bit longer to do it. About 8 or so years ago I cut my hair short and hated it and swore I'd never cut it again!! But, I did and it's a nice change. Eric is having a hard time adjusting. The great thing about hair is that it will grow back. These pictures aren't the greatest...it was later in the day and after a nap ...so I had to have Addison in the pictures to make me look better :)

Toilet Paper!?

Funny story...Addison and I were at the airport in Phoenix last Wednesday. It was quite the struggle going through security. I had to take Addison out of her stroller, fold it up, put it on the belt so it could go through x-ray, throw the diaper bag on the belt, take my laptop out of my back pack (it has to go through by itself), zip the back pack back up, put it on the belt, take off my shoes, put them on the belt....all while holding a baby....then walk through the metal detector. Then Addison and I went to the other side of the belt to gather up all of our belongings, get the stroller off the belt, try to unfold it while holding the baby....but while I was trying to do that a TSA fella said, "Mam, is this your laptop?". I told him it was and he said that it had been randomly selected to be checked. Seriously?! Fortunately he offered to help unfold the stroller, and was patient while I buckled Addison in, and gathered up all my other crap. Then we walked over to a different table. While he was checking the laptop he said.."She's so cute. Her face should be on toilet paper." TOILET PAPER!?! Of all the things Addisons face could be on he picked toilet paper! I know that he was being sincere and it makes me smile and laugh every time I think about it!! So is Addison's face cute enough to be on toilet paper? Well, of course I think so, but I'm not so sure that I'd want her face on a toilet paper package...

8 Months

Addison turned 8 months old back on the 6th. She's getting so big so fast!! She is such a happy baby! We sure do love her!!

So Good!

Right now I'm in Arizona visiting my good friend Christina. Today we discovered Yogurtland in Tempe. I want to pack them in my suitcase and take them home with me!! It was so good. I love frozen yogurt! There are still a few places in Utah County that I need to try, but I have yet to find one as awesome as Yogurtland. I'm sad that I won't be able to visit again before I fly home tomorrow. We fed Addison while we ate our yogurt so she wouldn't feel left out.
